The Book

Not your typical history book—this is history with heart.
In German Life: WWII and Beyond, Dr. Ilse-Rose Warg brings Germany’s complex history to life through two unique lenses: a fictional “Stammtisch” where characters from different social classes discuss key events, and the real-life survival story of her own family, anchored by their Christian faith. Blending personal experience with historical insight, this book offers a fresh and powerful take on Germany’s past. A must-read for anyone seeking a deeper, more personal understanding of history!
